Tropical Bar Cabinet
Glow up! This is a 2023 Wayfair cabinet wrapped in an antique, hand-painted, ribbed silk. This is a pre-WWII era Japanese fabric by Cohama, a historical company that specialized at the time in smaller runs of hand painted designs. They partnered later with Diane Von Furstenberg, among other luminaries. The interior is a warm ivory snakeskin (enamel painted wallpaper). Everything is sealed in polyurethane. The cabinet has adjustable shelves, and a magnetic catch. Aluminum base. MDF core, with laminate and natural cane. I’ve added additional brackets for support, and will include a set of wall anchors.
